Shockpad Underlays provide acoustic and force reduction where an extra layer is required to ensure that vibration and sound is reduced as much as possible. Ideal if you are not on a ground floor or have flats/offices above or below a gym that could be effected from vibrations or sound of weights being dropped. Our Shockpad is specifically designed for use underneath rubber flooring to provide increased reduction to impact problems. Shockpad Underlay is an elastic product made from selected rubber bound with polyurethane to provide a fantastic underlay, which is highly long lasting and forgiving providing high impact and sound absorption. The 10mm Shockpad provides force reduction of 39%, 15mm 51% and 20mm 60%. This enables you to have full confidence in having great acoustic softening and protection to the subfloor with just one extra layer bonded under any product such as Bladerunner or Solerunner. Adding a Shockpad underlay throughout a gym or in specific areas will provide great spaces that have a softer feel and are softer on the joints.
